		Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten Teacher

Many years ago, I had my first summer job with children as a playground leader. Loving children, I followed it by seasons as a camp counselor, classroom volunteer, scout leader, tennis coach, museum curriculum coordinator, swim instructor, special education aide, over ten years teaching preschool, and most important - raising two children. Our children are now both off on their own, one in California, the other in Wisconsin.

My post-secondary education began with a BA in Art from Davidson College in '78. Our daughter's 2nd grade experience in a Montessori magnet school in 1992 sparked an interest in Montessori which drew me into the Montessori aid training for ages 6-9. In 2007 I completed my Early Education teacher certification through the American Montessori Society and in 2010, I completed Maine's Pre-K Certification process.

Bob and I made the year round move to Chebeague in June of 2003. I serve as a volunteer fire person and have served on various boards. Summers are busy with extended family. I am grateful for the opportunity to both live and work in this community.
