QUILT RAFFLE, POSTERS & CARDS

 A wall hanging quilt of the flora and fauna of Chebeague Island is being raffled starting in November 2001 and with the drawing taking place on August 31, 2002.

The quilt measures 60 inches by 45 inches and was designed, hand appliquéd and quilted by Linda Disston White.


This wall hanging shows the natural world of our island environment - Rosa Rugosa, Herring Gull, Day Lilies, Lobster, Red Foxes, Eider Ducks, American Gold Finches, Harbor Seals, Blue Jay, White Tailed Deer, American Crows and a Raccoon.


The quilt will be displayed in the library and tickets will be $10 each or 3 for $25.

A poster 18 inches by 24 inches has been produced together with a postcard and note cards and are for sale.

The note cards have been produced also as Christmas cards and can be personalized with your own greeting in quantities of 50 or more.
