MEDICAL ROUND ROBIN
(photos by Ian and Darya)

Today we had medical people from around our community and hospitals to teach us all about the human body. They brought with them lots of examples of parts of bodies. My favorite was seeing the human brain and tongue. We were all interested in seeing the lung of a smoker and how black it was compared to a non-smoker.

We found out how long intestines are.

We learned how the blood pumps the blood throughout the body. One muscle is a lot bigger and stronger because it has to pump so much more.

We learned how important organ donations are.
