Jane Winters, 64

PORTLAND -- Jane Winters passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2011. She was born in Portland on Oct. 2, 1946 the daughter of Robert and Phyllis Ayer.

She worked for many years as a waitress serving the public at The Felsmore, The Pineland, The Birchwood and the former Downeast. She also worked at Key Bank for a period of time.

She loved traveling with her husband, close friends Warren and Syl Peacock and her eldest son Skip Peacock. ]Time was spent on cruises, visits to Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Foxwoods. Fun and laughs were enjoyed by all. She loved having her family close to her and getting together at Christmas, Thanksgiving and during family cookouts. Jane had the great ability to help her family get through any crisis.

Her husband will always love her and will never forget everything she brought into his life. Those memories will be held close to him forever.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Wes; son Skip Peacock, son Rick Peacock and his loving partner Lindsay Greene, and son Mike Peacock and his loving wife Amanda; as well as six grandchildren, Danny, Dillon, Tanner, Kianna, Mackenzie and Colby.

Her husband wishes to extend many thanks to friends, relatives, Carly York and the Yarmouth Police Department for their outpouring support.

There will be a celebration of life held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the Yarmouth Amvets Post 2 Hall at 148 North Road, Yarmouth, ME from 5-7 p.m.

Following Jane's wishes there will be a graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Yarmouth at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2011.
