Robert H. Morin Enjoyed golfing, boating and helping others


ROTONDA WEST, Fla. - Robert H. Morin, 67, formerly of Loudon, died Saturday, May 6, 2006.

He graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Laconia. He was a service technician with Sears in Concord for 35 years and moved to Florida upon his retirement. He was a summer resident of Chebeague Island, Maine.

Mr. Morin enjoyed golfing, boating and helping others with his mechanical abilities. He was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 2710 in Rotonda, the board of directors of the Great Chebeague Golf Course and the board of directors of the Rotonda Fiesta Club.

He is survived by his wife, Jane, of 43 years; sons R. Jeffrey Morin of Essex Junction, Vt., and John Morin of Cambridge, Mass.; daughters Kathy Simpson of Littleton, Mass., and Diana Morin of Concord; grandchildren Emily, Rachael, Andrew and Kate; sister Cecile Wiley of Gilford; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. He also leaves his beloved pets, Myra, Frances and Ginger.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care; or to the cancer research organization of one's choice.
