Ice Skating Party & Pond Hockey at Knight's Pond
Saturday, January 3rd from 1:00-4:00pm
Cumberland and North Yarmouth, Maine

The ice at Knight's Pond is perfectly smooth and this Saturday we are spontaneously seizing the moment! The moon will be full, the bonfire will be lit, the cocoa will be hot. Join us for impromptu pond hockey games with 17-season NHL pro hockey player Eric Weinrich. Bring the kids to skate loops around the pond, check out the beaver lodges up close and watch the full moon rise at 3:30. There are 46 acres of ice surrounded by 200 acres of forest that we are working to conserve and make available for all to enjoy.

What to Bring: Your own skates, hockey sticks, pucks and provisions for s'mores!

Directions: Trail head is located on the right hand side of Greely Road Extension just past #467. Please park on one side of the road. Walk less than 1/4 mile on an easy trail to the pond.

FMI: Call Penny Asherman at 807-8532.
