Winter Wall by Sheila Jordan has the gentleness of a summer night yet packs an emotional wallop much like a good ole Nor’easter. She has created a memory book of recognizable images, as a legacy for her family and as a gift to her readers.

The world in Winter Wall is our world. We have heard the voices and seen the images in her poems. Pausing between verses, I find myself lifting my head and closing my eyes to continue the dream that unfolds on each page.
