Board of Selectman Set Regular Meeting Date/Time: At its first organizational meeting the board has decided to hold its' regular meeting on the third Wednesday of every month. The first regular meeting is scheduled for Wednesday July, 18, 2007 at 7 pm. unless posted otherwise all meetings will be held at the Chebeague Island Community Center.

Board of Selectman to Hold Special Meetings: From time to time, especially at the outset the Board of Selectman to recognizes that it may have to conduct additional meetings to address important public business or policy matters. Please note that such a special meeting/agenda has already been posted for Wednesday July 11. Check for notices at the usual locations: boat, market, library, Chandler's Cove and on the Chebeague Web Site.

Motor Vehicle Registrations Begin on Wednesday July 11, 2007: The waiting is over! Our Bureau of Motor Vehicles stamp has arrived and thanks to Cheryl Buxbaum we can begin to register vehicles. However, after this week Cheryl will not always be available every day. We will be posting a schedule once we have been able to establish her availability so you will know when her office hours will be for registering vehicles.

Code Enforcement Officer Office Hours on Monday's from 8 - 5 pm: Paul White is the new code enforcement officer. We are exploring the possibility of adding another day to his weekly schedule. Please feel free to call the office at 846-3148 ahead of time to schedule an appointment. This way he can better plan his one work day on the island.

Transfer Station Hours/Operations Remain Unchanged for Summer: Now that Town Meeting and the Fourth of July have passed the Transfer station' normal summer house of operation have resumed.
