The State and Local Committee will be hearing LD 1735, "An Act to Authorize Chebeague Island To Secede from the Town of Cumberland".Directions to Augusta

When: Friday, March 3rd, 9am

Where: At the Cross Building (formerly known as the State Office Building) located immediately to the west of the State House in Room #208. There will be a Chebeague display located in the Hall of Flags on the 2nd floor of the Capitol Building. Many will try to meet there at 8:30.

Directions from I-95:

• Take Exit 30 onto Western Avenue
• Proceed through 6 sets of lights to Memorial Circle, proceed south through the first traffic light and take a right at the next light. For other parking, take the right onto Capitol Street at the first light.
• On Capitol Street, you will pass the State House and Cross Office Building on the left, parking is available to the left or right.
• You may park in the parking garage or in the adjacent lot. Do not park in the spaces reserved for Legislators.
