From 1996 through 1999, I created and maintained a website
for
the Chebeague Transportation Company, where I served as
its Administrative Director.
I worked on this website on my own time and at my own expense
as a service to the community and to further the cause of preserving
mainland access to Chebeague Island.
In addition to general information about schedules, rates
and fares, the site documents the struggle to gain and maintain
Chebeague Island's transportation system.
After CTC decided to maintain the website on its own without
my help, I continued to document events for another year or so, particularly in
the "Chronology of Ferry Access to Chebeague Island."
