2009 Great Gatsby Croquet Tournament and Lawn Party
Benefit the Chebeague Recreation Center
The Great Gatsby Croquet Tournament and Lawn Party was fabulous - the weather was the best of the summer so far- -boy were we lucky. Josh Doughty was the first place finisher, Geoff Summa was second and third was Ian Smith, runner up Tom Schutte. In the Hat Contest Suzanne Rugh was first, second was Dylan Doughty and third was Carly Derby. I have photos from Pat Hatler, Howard Coffin, Cathy MacNeill and me - so many! I have put them all together and tried to limit the number but I sitll have pages of photos. A big thank you to Howard Coffin and Pat Hatler for hosting the event and to Erika Neuman who really made sure this event happened. Thank you to Sam McLean and her family for the wonderful food, Mary Holt and crew for the decorations, the artists who painted all the stools (the auction netted over $5000), Laura Summa and crew for the set up, Bob Earnest for all his work and to Anna Maine who dedicated her day to making sure everyone got up and down the road. John Holt also for emceeing. There are so many who should be thanked that I am sure I am missing someone very important.
