The school children started out at the school at 10 am down the School House Road cleaning the sides of the roads. They went up the South Road and stopped at the Commons Assisted Living Home where they joined lots of islanders doing all kinds of work around the place. After working there for a while they finished the five mile loop down to the Historical Society and up the North Road back to the school. This community service for them will help defray part of the cost of their end of the school field trip.
