Especially to Donna Damon, John and Mary Holt, The Chebeague Town Council members, the Welcome at the Island United Methodist Church, Beth at the Recreation Center, and the Warmth and Welcome by Chuck Varney, Ace and the sheep, BaaaaH !!!,  Gail Miller at Miller Designs, and the Incredible Welcome and Reception, after the Town Council Meeting following the two Presentations by the Solovky Islands Delegation, and the Delicious Chicken Stew and Bread at the Historical Society Museum " Food for the Soul" Anna Balandina would have called it.
We also want to send a Special Thank You !!! to Amy Kersteen and Carol Lynn Davis for their help with our Friends and to Nancy and Robert Earnest, Your Work and Preparations for this visit was Key to the Tremendous Success and Overwhelming Welcome We received.
We tried to make the Childrens' Concert but an Invitation from the new Westbrook Police Chief ( who said he started his Police career on Chebeague ) to visit the new Westbrook Public Safety Building Tuesday evening superseded our going to the Concert.
We all wish everyone on Chebeague the Very Best, and hope there is a positive Decision to become a Sister Island to Solovky Islands.
