Job Description: Music Teacher (K-5)
Classification: Part-time for the academic year
Hours: 1/2 day per week

Responsibilities:

• prepare, plan and administer activities that allow children to develop musically through singing, moving, playing and dancing
• help children develop skills for playing a musical instrument and/or singing and performing simple compositions
• provide a variety of activities within the music lessons that address different attention spans and different learning styles
• give attention to the expressive and emotional aspects of music

Requirements: State Certification
