Molly Y. Recommends

I recommend the Voice on the Radio, by Caroline B. Cooney

This book is for people who like drama, like real life problems and situations. It is also for people who like mysteries.

I suggest it to you because it's interesting. It shows a life of a girl who was kidnapped and is dealing with her two families, while her boyfriend is telling all of her secrets over a college radio station.

A part of the book that shows this is when Janie and her older sister and younger twin brother are at a hotel in Boston and hear Janie's boyfriend on the radio station telling all of her secrets (known to the world as "Janies").

I think the reason the author wrote this book was to show that kids get kidnapped everyday. It also shows that you can't always trust your friends or family with secrets.

Some interesting sentences from this book that demonstrates the author's style of writing:
"Horror spread down Janie's body like a snakebite. The poison was cold crawling through her system. It was cold inside her head, too. An air-condition nightmare."

On a scale of 1 to 5 (5 being among the best books I've ever read), this book rates a 4 .

Three words that best describe the book are:

dramatic
chilling
interesting
