This is a book for the reader who likes suspense and mystery. I suggest you read it because it's a great mystery and it makes you want to keep on reading to find out what happens next. A part of the book that shows this is when Anne opens a box that she has been warned not to open and a metal crab-like figure scurries away. I think the reason the author wrote this book was to show kids that if they don't obey their parents/guardians then something bad may end up happening. One interesting sentence from the book that demonstrates the author's style of writing is "'Don't open the boxes and do not tell anyone!' demanded Uncle Marco." On a scale of 1-5 this book rates a 3.
