Brianna Recommends:

I recommend Ice by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor.

This is a book for people who like to solve mysteries and solve problems.

I suggest you read it because there is a lot of great solving of mysteries and sadness. The author makes you feel like you are the main character.

A part of the book that shows this is when she found out about her dad and when the man came up to the door with a knife wanting something from her.

I think the reason the author wrote this book was to show how hard life can be sometimes.

One interesting sentence from this book that demonstrates the author's style of writing is: "'Well, what do you know!' Chrissa asked." I think that sentence just brings out the anger in Chrissa's voice.

On a scale from 1 to 5 (5 being among the best books I've ever read), this book rates as a 4.

Three words that best describe the book are anger, excitement, brilliant.
