MULTIPLYING MIXED NUMBERS
Here are the steps for multiplying mixed numbers.
Write mixed numbers as improper fractions.
(Short-cut: Cross-divide to cancel out factors, if you can.)
Multiply numerator by numerator and denominator by denominator.
Write the product in lowest terms, if necessary.
