MULTIPLYING MIXED NUMBERS
 Here are the steps for multiplying mixed numbers.
  1. Write mixed numbers as improper fractions.
  2. (Short-cut: Cross-divide to cancel out factors, if you can.)
  3. Multiply numerator by numerator and denominator by denominator.
  4. Write the product in lowest terms, if necessary.
