ATTLEBORO, MASS. - John D. 'Jack' Woodworth, Jr., 62, of South
Avenue, Attleboro, died on Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at Sturdy
Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. Born in Pawtucket, R.I., on April
29, 1939, he was a son of the late John D., Sr. and Josephine
(Burke) Woodworth. He resided in Attleboro for the past 40 years,
having previously resided in Rhode Island. Mr. Woodworth was employed
by various jewelry and computer companies prior to his retirement
last August. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and was a member of a
golf league. Mr. Woodworth leaves a daughter, Laura J. Usher of
North Cumberland, Maine; three sons, Allan D. Woodworth of South
Attleboro, John D. Woodworth III of Attleboro, and Timothy A.
Woodworth of Attleboro; two sisters, Claire Tait of Miami, Fla.,
and Catherine Meunier of Pawtucket, R.I.; four grandchildren;
and several nephews. Relatives and friends are cordially invited
to attend funeral services on Saturday, April 6, at 10 a.m. in
the 'Commonwealth Chapel' of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth
Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, with the
Rev. James Fahey, pastor of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church,
South Attleboro, officiating. Burial will be in Chebeague Cemetery,
Chebeague Island, Maine.
