Sebago Lane B. Gosbee, 52, of Hog Fat Hill Rd., passed away on March 24, 2008 at Maine Medical Center, Portland.
He was born on September 26, 1955 in Skowhegan a son of Wilbur C. & Marguerite C. West Gosbee.
Lane attended Harmony schools, received a GED Certificate from the State Of Maine Department of Education And Cultural Services in Augusta on September 16, 1974 and graduated from Southern Maine Technical College with a degree in Technical Drafting. He also went on to get his bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology from USM.
Lane worked for 22 years as a self employed carpenter, and later worked at Hussey Seating as a Drafter, at Sebago Public Works as a truck driver and at OEST Associates Inc. as a Structural designer and construction manager.
An outdoorsman and member of the North American Hunting Club, Lane enjoyed camping, hunting, and spending time in his home town of Harmony. He brought out the best in everyone and inspired incredible loyalty from friends and co-workers alike.
Besides his parents of Harmony, Lane is survived by his wife of 20 years, Robin E. Brown Gosbee; 2 daughters, Serena D. & Britteny R. Gosbee of Sebago; 1 sister, Noelle J. Loupin of Harmony; 3 brothers, Fred D. of Round Pond, Bill L. of Wells and Matt C. of Harmony.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday April 5, 2008 at Sebago Center Community Church on Route 107 in Sebago. Rev. Cathy Genther-Plaisted will officiate.
A graveside service and burial will be at Haley Cemetery at 1:00 PM on Friday May 9, 2008.
