Geraldine L. Small Killian

Geraldine L. Small Killian, 82, of Glenwood, died Saturday, July 31, 2004 at Twin Rivers Health & Rehab in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

She was born in May 17, 1922 at Chebeague Island, a daughter of Ralph E. N. Small and Lida Hamilton Small.

She attended and graduated from Chebeague Island Schools. She attended Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster, Mass., classes of 1941 and 1942.

She married Francis Lonzo Killian of Lodi, Arkansas on December 12, 1942, while he was stationed at Chebeague Island with the 196th Coastal Artillery Division. After the war, they returned to and made their home in Arkansas in 1946. Francis preceded her in death on January 2, 2002.

She was of the Christian faith and affiliated with the assemblies of God.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, doug and Mary Lou Killian of Amity, Bruce and Nancy Killian of Glenwood, and David and Joan-Marie Killian of Warwick, Rhode Island; one daughter and son-in law, Darlene and Larry Partridge of Alpine; six grand-children, Missy, Paul, Shane, Kristen, Candena, and Brooks; four great grandchildren, Steve, Maddie, Connor, and Mary Kate; one sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Billy Munroe of Chebeague Island; and her nephew and niece Ralph and Carol Munroe.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., August 4, in the lodi Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Golden officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
