PEAPACK - Clayton C. Helbig died Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at home in Peapack. He was 47.
He was born in Scotch Plains and moved to Peapack in 1999.
He was a self employed notary public.
He was a member of the New York and New Jersey Trail Conference for many years, as well as a member of the National Rifle Association.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hiking.
His father, Christian Helbig, died previously.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Mayer Helbig; his mother, Gayle Helbig of Chebeague Island, Maine; his brothers, Colton Helbig of Branchburg and Steffan Helbig of Boyertown, Pa.; his sister, Claudia Marty of Chester; his many cherished nieces and nephews; and his many close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main St., Peapack.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Clayton Helbig Memorial Fund, c/o the funeral home would be appreciated.
