His loving wife, Anna Prahl, his son Roger F. (Rick) and his wife, Joan Edwards, daughter Jessica Prahl and her husband Edward Raynie, two granddaughters, Alexa and Lia Prahl, brother Ruy Prahl, and sister Jolanda Schulz survive him.
A funeral service will be held at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Putnam Valley, on Wednesday Feb. 4, 2015 at 12:30 PM, followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor. Visiting at Dorsey-Carlone Funeral Home, 1100 Cortlandt St. Peekskill, on Tuesday, 3-5 and 7-9 PM.

The Prahl/Edwards are long-time summer visitors to Chebeague, and Roger will be missed by many, including May Hall, Cassidy Jeffers, and Bea Crossman.
