Cumberland-GCI - Growth/Long-Range Planning Committee Meeting

The topic for in-depth discussion at the Committee's next meeting (Sat.
10/23 9:00AM) is water quality and waste water disposal. The Committee's
point person on these topics is Carol White.

In preparation for the Committee's work on 10/23, the Committee has
organized two public discussions as described in the Island Calendar as

Thursday, 10/14, 7:00 P.M. at CIHCC
As part of the work on the Comprehensive Plan we are providing this
workshop on Ground Water and Septic Systems on Chebeague. Information on
our ground water resources on the Island including threats and limitations
will be presented. This is an opportunity to find out about these important
issues, to ask whatever questions you may have and to help to develop
essential strategies to protect ground water resources on Chebeague.
Questions, please call Carol White - 846-4769.
