The art teacher, Sara Asch, assigned each student in
3rd - 6th grade class on Chebeague Island an artist to study.
Vika's assignment was Dahlov Ipcar. Vika studied and learned
about Dahlov and her work and created her own wall quilt which
she displayed at her school's Maine Artist's gallery opening
last week.
Vika was delighted to talk to Dahlov and then meet her at
the Chocolate Church in Bath at a reception for Dahlov Ipcar
and her artwork.
