The Chebeague Island School serves all the students and community of Chebeague Island. The Town of Chebeague Island was established July 1, 2007 and at that time a School Committee was elected. The island has one school house which has classes from pre-k through fifth grade. Both Jennifer Belesca and Ken Pelton were elected to another term on the School Committee starting in July 2012.

Eighth graders through 12 graders travel to Greely Middle and Greely High in Cumberland through a contract with MSAD51. On September 6, 2011, our sixth graders started at Frank Harrison Middle School in Yarmouth. This began our new partnership with that school district in educating our middle and high school students. In September 2012, we will be sending our sixth and seventh graders to Harrison Middle School. Students who are currently attending Greely Middle and High Schools may complete their educations in Cumberland.
