Welcome to Chebeague Island School

The Chebeague Island School serves all the students and community of Chebeague Island. The Town of Chebeague Island was established July 1, 2007 and at that time a School Committee was elected. The School Committee is responsible for the education of students from pre school through high school and beyond. The island has one school house which has classes from pre school through fifth grade. Sixth graders through 12 graders now travel to Greely Middle and Greely High through a contract with MSAD51.

The island school has undergone many improvements since July 1. The kitchen has been upgraded to meet the State's Health requirements with the addition of a new refrigerator and dishwasher. A wall has been built to make two distinct rooms out of a large divided room.
