Thank you to all of our wonderful scarecrow creators! We had a
wonderful response to this fun way to celebrate fall and it has
been a blast driving around the island and seeing the creativity
and spirit. We already have lots of great ideas on how to improve
for next year and we look forward to this becoming another island
tradition!
One change we want to make is judging the scarecrows. Our panel
of secret judges had a hard time and we have heard from community
members new ideas on how to judge it differently which we will
implement next fall. Next year the whole community will be able
to judge on-line, at the CRC and at the Halloween parties!
Since our judges had a hard time picking a winner we decided on
the following categories ~ we are always open for ideas for new
categories for next year too

The judges want me to express that they had a difficult time choosing
and that all the scarecrows were wonderful and fun!
All first place winners will receive movie tickets as a prize.
